While the barn has been demolished, parts of it are being re purposed throughout the community, thanks to the Sammamish Arts Commission and local artist Al Zold. According to a recent article on EastofSeattle.News, "Wood from the barn has been used in art pieces placed at three roundabouts in the city. There already are plans to place three more of the sculptures at other roundabouts later this year, said Claradell Shedd, a member of the Sammamish Arts Commission."

What an inspiring way to reuse a historic structure of Sammamish. We love seeing the local community come together to make unique art available to its residents.
