Our Issaquah and Sammamish clientele is always up on current design trends.  As advisors, we love to monitor the latest looks and incorporate them into our staging and home presentations.  From gorgeous silk pillows to an elegant potted plant, COLOR, makes a difference. Pantone, an international authority on color, announced its Color of the Year for 2016 and for the first time has chosen two hues that blend together: Rose Quartz and Serenity. As the website describes, this year’s colors “demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.” These themes translate onto a variety of venues, including one place that holds a special place in our hearts: home.

Whether in the natural elements that surround a home or within the interior décor selections, rose quartz and serenity offer homeowners and visitors a sense of security and tranquility. “Rose quartz is a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure” and “serenity is weightless and airy, like the expanse of the blue sky above us, bringing feelings of respite and relaxation even in turbulent times.” Paired together, these two colors offer a heightened level of relaxation and beauty in our homes.
