Why does having an authentically global real estate team matter? In my last newsletter, I noted the importance of understanding cultural nuance and helping buyers who may be unfamiliar with our practices. The importance of this aspect became vastly apparent again this week as we have a wonderful new client purchasing one of our listings from China  on an E-1-1 Visa. A visa type will impact our lender's ability to finance and whether or not cash funds can be obtained.

This is a very unique visa for a valued visitor; Wikipedia references John Lennon, Gandhi and other notables on this type of visa. My Asia Desk colleagues offered background and context so we could help this buyer obtain our listing. Our trusted lendor, Tom Goldsmith of Caliber Home Loans, is structuring the finance.
